Constructed as a barn and restored by us “B&B Il Fienile di Scarperia “ is located on a hill in Scarperia in the heart of the Mugello countryside, the land of the Medici where they lived and left their imprint in various buildings. It has been finely restored using traditional materials and transformed as a friendly family residence. There are two lovely bedrooms carefully furnished to satisfy our guests. The furniture is in rustic style and the ceiling with visible beams in wood. The bathroom is in English style.

The bedrooms face the sun until sunset and overview the typical Tuscan countryside, the Golf Resort and the Mugello Autodromo which is a few steps from our B&B. On the ground floor there is a big fireplace for the cold Wintry days and a big garden with a gazebo to have breakfast outside or just to relax..

In Mugello there are a lot of possibilities to practise indoor and outdoor sports:
horse-riding, lake and river fishing, motor-biking, Cycling and Mountain-biking.

On Lake Bilancino you can wind surf and go canoeing.

On the way from Scarperia to Barberino di Mugello there are two sporting airfields, in San Piero a Sieve and Borgo San Lorenzo there are two big indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis clubs and a roller skate rink in Scarperia.

The Tuscan cuisine is exquisite and you can enjoy it by cooking together with us and tasting the excellent Italian wine.
